I'm really tired of people who pick up a camera, take a picture with no thought, and call it art. And the people whose pictures blend in with all 330000 others that look exactly like it.
Photography, I feel, is becoming the new anime. Is photography reverting back to not being considered an art-form?
Just so you know, I'm a very opinionated person. If I share them, no, I probably won't really change my mind if you debate with me. HOWEVER, I am 100% aware of and prepared for the fact that people don't agree with me. If I publicize my opinions, it's for a reason. If I didn't want anyone to see them and bother me about them, I'd post on a different medium or simply keep them internalized. Done.
So here are some things I find ridiculous:
Materialism to the point that someone will only buy Burberry, Tommy Hillfiger, and Prada for their kids to wear to match their own Prada merchandise.
People who are HORRENDOUSLY fake. I.E.: Too much make-up, a clearly superficial self-confidence that serves only to hide the real insecurity underneath, superficial courtesy, etc...
Ladies who ask me to BAG A SEALED CAKE in Target and then give me an attitude that I didn't do it right while she's talking on her fucking bluetooth headset throughout the transaction
Bigotry of any sorts. (Yes, I am ridiculous by my own definition)
People asserting their religion, beliefs, or lack-there-of on others.

Anime. It's just ridiculous by nature. Sometimes entertaining.

I'm liking it less and less. I'm increasingly disappointed with some of the deviations people post and receive so much praise for. The community is prudish and obnoxious most of the time. I'm well aware I'm no perfect artist, but a lot about this site just irritates me. (See: share button controversy <And really, if they're a problem for you, get off the site. You're too insecure for it.>
